Kirsten Hurst...

     Hails from Independence, KY and attended Northern Kentucky University. It was here, surrounded by team of beautifully creative teachers and students, that she discovered her passion for writing and editing. During her college career, she was published in Loch Norse Magazine and Inside NKU/NKU Magazine. She also served as Poetry Editor for the former publication during her senior year. Since graduating in May 2017, Kirsten has been developing her own literary magazine as part of her dream to become an editor.

Kirsten is the creative voice behind the words "Race Ate Our Family Trees" from her poem, "That Time I Talked to Race."
